Title IX Training deadline is October 1
The University of Alaska is committed to a safe campus environment where our students, staff and faculty can learn, work and live. All degree-seeking students, national/international exchange students and those living on campus, as well as all employees need to complete annual Title IX training each fiscal year.
On July 17, every UA employee received an email distributed by Pageupeople inviting them to take the training. This email is an official email from UA Human Resources. The Title IX Sex and Gender Based Discrimination training is conveniently provided for you via MyUA.
By the terms of the university's agreement with the U.S. Department of Education, Title IX required training is due to be completed by all University employees annually by October 1, with the annual training period starting each July 1.
The training will take you 30-45 minutes to complete. Below is helpful information to assist you with completion. Only training completed after July 1, 2019, will count toward the FY20 training requirement.
