Overview Grades K-6

Theme 1: on successful completion of all units in Changing Weather and Climate, students will be able to answer the following question with detail and specific examples appropriate to their age group: How are weather and climate changing in our area?

Theme 2: on successful completion of all units in Changing Landscapes, students will be able to answer the following question with detail and specific examples appropriate to their age group: How are weather and climate changing in our area?

Theme 3: on successful completion of all units in Changing Lifestyles, students will be able to answer the following question with detail and specific examples appropriate to their age group: How can my community adapt to a changing landscape?

Overview Grades 6-12

Changing Lanscapes Theme: on successful completion of all units, students will have a greater understanding of the following: thawing permafrost, shrub expansion and coastal erosion, and how these events might be impacting their area.

Changing Lifestyles Theme: on successful completion of all units, students will have a greater understanding of the impacts that climate change has on the following: infrastructure, subsistence, and natural resources.
