March 27, 2025 UA Giving Day 2025: Thank you for your support!
ALASKA - For 49 hours, the University of Alaska (UA) community united in an extraordinary show of support for the University of Alaska Fairbanks, University of Alaska Anchorage and University of Alaska Southeast.
Because of the generosity of more than 2,500 of UA’s alumni and friends, over $1.3 million was raised during UA Giving Day.
Matching and challenge gifts from nearly 200 dedicated donors amplified many of the individual contributions.
The excitement during the online event was notable as supporters shared their personal reasons for giving via #49HoursForAlaska. Among the crowd were the UA Giving Day Champions who helped broaden awareness about UA and student needs.
