Facilities Report Card

Facilities Services is responsible for the stewardship over the operation, maintenance, and renewal of UA’s facilities.  We accomplish this by performing routine equipment maintenance, replacing worn out building components, and renovating space to meet the evolving needs of our university campuses.  We take pride in our work and are confident that we are doing an excellent job.  In order to get an unbiased opinion, UA contracts with an independent company, Gordian, that reviews and grades hundreds of universities on their stewardship of their facilities.  Gordian compares UAA, UAF, and UAS against other universities of similar size and composition.  Some of the key performance indicators that Gordian investigates include; energy efficiency, facilities investment, building renovation age, and backlog of deferred maintenance.
