2007-2012
Alaska's EPSCoR's third phase, from 2007-2012, consisted of four components:
i.) Physical Science;
ii.) Biology;
iii.) Social Science; and
iv.) An Integration Core designed to link the components together.
In the final two years of the project (2010-11 and 2011-12) these components were supplemented with interdisciplinary "themes" of Human-Hydrological Interactions; Ecosystem Services and Livelihoods; Mobilities; and Systems Modeling.
The 106 faculty members in this phase received over 267 federal, state and private awards for a total of more than $88 million and published nearly 500 publications, including articles, book chapters and books.
