Results
Your scores are reported to you immediately after the exam so you know what classes will be available to you during registration. Your score will be available to your advisor in approximately one business day.

Who needs to take the test
Anyone who is planning on taking a course that requires mathematics placement and does not have current MATH credit from a course at the appropriate level.
Restrictions if you do not take the test
You will not be able to register for a course requiring math placement without either a Math Placement Test score, current credit for a prerequisite course, AP exams or CLEP exams. These include all mathematics or developmental math courses, statistics courses, and courses in a wide range of disciplines across the university. For more information on this topic, view exceptions.
