Adrielle Jones
Gift Coordinator
UA Foundation
Adrielle Jones has joined the UA Foundation team as Gift Coordinator for the sytem. Her primary role is assisting with fiscal tracking, donation receipts and acceptance of donations and gifts.
Working for the Fairbanks North Star Borough, Emergency Management Department was Jones' favorite previously held position. She handled the administrative aspects within the office, keeping things running smoothly so the other members of the department could focus on the larger-scale mission. This is what she expects to do for the UA Foundation as well! She thoroughly enjoys working for a department whose mission she can get behind, and philanthropic support of education is a great thing.
Jones was born and raised in Fairbanks. She met her husband here; he was also a student at UAF. When his employer offered them the opportunity to transfer to Montana, they took it. They spent a few years enjoying beautiful Missoula, MT but when their son was born they decided it was time to come home.
Much of Jones' training has been provided by employers over the years. Her formal education was mostly through UAF, with a few classes from the University of Montana. She majored in Accounting with a minor in Emergency Management. When she decided to go back to work after a couple years home with her son, she finished up her AA in accounting.
Jones enjoys aerial silks, aerial yoga, and anything acrobatic. As a family they snowboard, and enjoy working toward increasing self-sufficiency and Alaska preparedness.
