Congratulations to Adam Watson!

Adam Watson has accepted a Performance Analyst position with the UA Department of Institutional Research and Analysis (UA IRA). He is a lead analyst for developing and reporting UA performance outcome measures.

Watson joined UA Institutional Research and Analysis in September 2009 as a graduate student and worked since then as a Research Analyst at the department. He and his wife, Bridget, who works for UAF's Office of Research Integrity, spend most of their free time being new parents to their daughter, Lena, whose first birthday will be next month.

Coordinator to the President & Board of Regents
President's & Regents Office

Julie Benson has joined the president and regents office in a coordinator position. Previously, Benson was the Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Research at UAF.

Benson has spent the last fifteen years in Alaska but is originally from the Great State of Texas.� She attended college at the Texas Christian University where she eared a Bachelor of Science in 1990 and Master of Liberal Arts in 1994.

She and her husband Adam have two daughters, Ainsley (11) and Allyson (8). Benson loves to spend time with family, scrapbook and sing (not all at the same time). In summer, she enjoys golf and camping. In winter, she likes to knit, go to hockey games and lead a girl scout troop.
