Intent to Sell University of Alaska Parcel GU.LC.0001

The University of Alaska Land Management Office (UALM) is seeking public comment on the attached disposal plan.

Parties interested in commenting on this proposed disposal plan must submit written comments to UALM by fax at (907) 786-7733, by email at ua-land@alaska.edu, or at the address listed below no later than 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, to be considered.

Development & Disposal Plan

Township 9 North, Range 6 East, Sections 32-33, Seward Meridian, Anchorage Recording District

The University of Alaska (“University”) intends to enter into a negotiated sale of one (1) parcel of land at or above the fair market value. This remote parcel is located near Logging Camp Bay in Prince William Sound, Alaska. If the negotiated sale were to be discontinued, the University intends to offer this parcel for sale competitively or over-the-counter.

This disposal plan is effective as long as the University owns the parcel.

Description: The parcel is located on the northeastern shore of Passage Canal, on the north side of a small embayment named Logging Camp Bay.
Legal Description: Remainder of Lot 1B, T. 9N R. 6E, Sec. 32 and 33, containing approximately 195.96-acres more or less, according to the Alaska Cadastral Survey, Seward Meridian, Alaska, recorded in the Anchorage Recording District on August 8, 1989 as Plat No. 89-67.
