Welcome to the Haines Community Engagement page. We are committed to working with the Haines community as we continue to evaluate the best use of our land holdings, including a potential carbon credit program and small scale timber sales. Our ultimate goal is to identify and share positive opportunities, ideas and related actions that will support the health and economy of the Chilkat Valley while generating revenue for important programs such as UA Scholars.
