Quantum Learning Track

The Quantum Learning Track takes computer scientists to the cutting edge of quantum computer development, including hardware, software, and programming languages. Alaska has led the world in quantum infrastructure and applications since the first Quantum Data Greenhouse was built in the Arctic in 2028. Students apply their skills to climate modeling and adaptation, engineering optimization, maritime transportation, healthcare, and more. Cross-campus collaborations involve the FabX Lab, Bioengineering, the Alaska School of Medicine, and the Regenerative Policy Institute. Students have access to a world-class quantum bank and coursework is available in mixed reality.
