Alaska Arts Platform

The Alaska Arts Platform (AAP) is the digital infrastructure for artists and designers, working in similar media and interested in Alaska, to share and organize their practice. The AAP engages critically with media and tool making, and its affiliated artists have produced several award-winning video games, mixed reality experiences, and open-source tools. The platform organizes the use of 3D modeling, game design, and world building techniques to help artists productively interrogate their environments. This platform is available in mixed reality, and works in partnership with UA Museum of the North, Anchorage Museum, First Alaskans Institute, and Alaska State Library, Archive, and Museum.
