Haley Hanson has transitioned from assistant director to interim director of the UAF Kuskokwim Campus. Since joining UAF in fall 2022, Hanson has been a key figure at the Kuskokwim Campus, serving not only as assistant director but also as health careers advisor and principal investigator for both the Title III and USDA grants. Her deep roots in Bethel, coupled with her academic achievements — holding Masters of Education in Secondary Education and Masters in Rural Development from the University of Alaska Fairbanks — make her uniquely qualified to lead the Kuskokwim Campus. Hanson’s unwavering commitment to community service and her extensive university experience ensure she will continue to drive positive change and foster growth within our campus and the surrounding villages.
