Joanna joined International Programs & Initiatives (IPI) in January 2013 as the Senior Scholar Immigration Advisor and Lead. In this role, Joanna provides leadership to the IPI team responsible for supporting the international student and scholar community in pursuit of their academic, personal and professional goals. Further, Joanna serves as the Responsible Officer (RO) coordinating immigration services for J-1 students and scholars. She also serves as the Designated School Official (DSO) coordinating immigration services for F-1 students. Joanna also leads efforts in regards to ensuring IPI’s compliance with Department of Homeland Security reporting requirements and is the primary contact for employment related petitions.
