Jennifer Tilbury has been appointed as UAF Associate Vice Provost for Student Success, effective July 1, 2022. Tilbury’s experience at the University of Alaska Fairbanks spans over two decades. Prior to this appointment, she served as the UAF Community and Technical College Director for Student Success and Instructional Support. In her new role, Tilbury will work to develop and direct short and long range initiatives related to student success and retention, as well as lead efforts to launch the UAF Student Success Center that will be located in a renovated space on the sixth floor of the Rasmuson Library.

Tilbury will directly report to Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, Anupma Prakash.

Tilbury’s primary role will be directing programming at the Success Center, including integrated services and support for students: first-year advising, Study Away, career services, tutoring, academic coaching and more.
