Remote Device Screen Share Instructions

Customers who would like to screen share using their their desktop machine or mobile device when contacting the OIT Service Desk for requests, including those related to DUO MFA, SSO or Google, can do the following:

  1. First download the ‘BeyondTrust’ app on your device at the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), depending on the operating system of your device.
  2. From the device, make contact with an OIT Technician using the Chat with OIT feature.
  3. Once contact is made via the Chat tool, the customer needs to enter '' into the chat field.
  4. The OIT Technician will then reply in the Chat tool with an access code that the Customer then enters into the BeyondTrust app. Screen sharing between the Customer and the OIT Technician can now begin.
