Announcement of Availability for the 2015 Field Season
The University of Alaska Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the 2015 Angus Gavin Memorial Bird Research Grant.

2015 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence
Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence is awarded each year by the Board of Trustees fo the University of Alask Foundation to the individual whose work has demonstrated excellence in suppor of the Alaska's State University. Please click here for the full announcement.
Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence Goes to Longtime Educator
The University of Alaska Foundation has announced that Dana Thomas, UA System vice president for Academic Affairs and Research and a 30-plus year statistics faculty member at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, has been selected the 2014 recipient of the Edith R. Bullock Prize.
The prestigious title includes a cash award, and is the single largest award presented by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees each year. Read the full story here.
Donations to UA double through this year's Pick. Click. Give.
Exxon matches donations to UA Foundation
The University of Alaska had its best year ever since the Pick. Click. Give. program was first started in 2010, the UA Foundation reported.
That first year, UA campuses received $5,900 through the Permanent Fund Dividend checkoff, which allows Alaskans to give directly to their favorite nonprofit or charity through the annual PFD application. The donations to UA via the PFD jumped to $16,100 in 2011 and then leaped again in 2012, to nearly $25,400. Donations to UA campuses climbed again in 2013, to $28,400, and then doubled this past year, to $56,425.
