to the 2016 Statewide Staff Campaign!

A STRONG UNIVERSITY MEANS A STRONG ALASKA...

By supporting the University of Alaska through your gift, you demonstrate and send a strong message to our legislative leaders and the people of Alaska that you believe that a strong university makes a stronger state. Despite budget cuts, UA has proven itself to be a leader of Arctic research, offers affordable education, and has faculty that are internationally recognized leaders in their fields.

The Statewide Staff Giving Campaign is a tradition where participation is our most important goal. The campaign is only successful with your participation. We ask you to unite with fellow statewide staff members to show your commitment to the University of Alaska. Every dollar you donate is more than a gift; it is a statement that you believe the University of Alaska is a strong university.

Join in some fun activities during the month of April and look for opportunities to win prizes. All employees' names will automatically be entered into a drawing for two Alaska Airlines vouchers. As a bonus, every time you participate in one of our staff campaign activities, your name will be entered in the pool for two Alaska Airline vouchers. If you participate all you can, you can have your name entered five times!!

Everyone who makes a contribution to the University of Alaska in the current fiscal year will be invited to a pizza party in May. The University of Alaska Foundation thanks all of our employees for everything you do in support of UA.

THANK YOU!

Supporting the next generation of graduates

"I am humbled to know that complete strangers like you have faith in my dreams. Your assistance lightens my financial burden, but more importantly the opportunity to develop personal, academic, and leadership skills, which will support me as I chase my goals."

Kristen Williams, UAF, Guy Woodings Scholarship and Friends of UWA Scholarship recipient
