Class - Blackboard Course Design Workshop

Creating online course materials can be a challenge. How do you start? What do you organize?
The Blackboard system at UAF provides a place online to organize and store your course materials, assignments and assessments, and encourage collaboration between students.

This all-day workshop will show you how to design a hybrid/blended course within the UAF Blackboard system. It will start with some course design principals, and provide ideas and practices to organize your content online. The focus will be on creating a course that is clear and understandable to your students. By the end of the workshop, you should have at least a good start of your online course.

This is a hands-on workshop, you will be creating your course in Blackboard. Please bring your syllabus for the course you want to design, as well as a proposed course schedule and any content items, assignments and assessments you are planning on in your course.
