The For Alaska campaign has generated extraordinary momentum for the University of Alaska system. There is a powerful collective story in the For Alaska campaign—the largest philanthropic campaign in the history of the state of Alaska. The Alaska Education Tax Credit (ETC) program, administered by the Department of Revenue, gives tax credits to third party entities that make charitable donations for the purpose of education in the state. The program empowers Alaska to maintain a highly effective partnership between businesses and UA, directly benefiting Alaska’s workforce needs and fueling the economy.
