Why UA?

UA is the launching pad to anywhere you want to go and anyone you want to be. We are a fun, vibrant, welcoming place where you will find a perfect fit for your individual needs. Here you will find options that open doors, including travel abroad, numerous fields of study, diverse campus communities, a variety of study options, and student clubs that offer you an opportunity to get involved and make new and interesting discoveries.

As a senior you have tough decisions to make, like where to go to college and what to study. The University of Alaska has fifteen campuses throughout the state and offers 500 degree and certificate programs. Plus, after attending UA for a year you can to participate in the National Student Exchange, Study Abroad, or International Exchange program. Scholars must maintain their status as a UA student and pay their fees to the University of Alaska in order to have their UA Scholars Award applied to their student account. Contact the exchange programs to find out what schools participate in the various programs.
