The Functions of the UA CIRT

Develop and recommend a set of security standards that should be implemented by all UA units.

Develop and implement procedures for handling intrusion.

Assist UA units/departments in securing their IT resources.

Membership

The membership of the UA CIRT shall consist of at least one required member from each of UA Statewide, UAF, UAA, UAS, and one voluntary member from any other interested university units, currently consisting of UA Statewide, ARSC and GI. A university unit may nominate one of its staff for UA CIRT membership.
